The short version
- We use cookie-free visitor analytics only. No ad pixels and no tracking cookies.
- We only get personal details you choose to send us, by email or through a form.
- Our Data links take you to micro1. What you enter there is collected by micro1 under its own privacy policy, and we never receive your company's dataset.
- We don't sell your personal information. Email us any time to see, correct or delete what we hold.
01
Who we are
This site, thecorner.ai, is run by The Corner AI LLC ("The Corner", "we", "us"). We are a Washington company and work with companies across the United States.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site or work with us, why, and the choices you have. It covers thecorner.ai and the pages under it. It does not cover other companies' sites we link to, including micro1.
02
What we collect
Information you give us. When you email us, use our apply or contact page, or book a call, we receive what you send: usually your name, email, phone number, company, website and a description of what you need.
The Design website builder. If you use the "start" flow on our Design pages, you can give us your website address, chat with our AI assistant by text (or voice, when it is switched on), save favourite designs and leave your name, email and phone number. To prepare the assistant, our servers read the public pages of the website address you enter. The session, including the conversation, is sent to us as a project brief by email. If you leave partway through after entering a website or contact details, what you entered so far may still be sent to us so we can follow up.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical data with each request: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. The Design builder also records the page that referred you, your browser's user agent and your IP address with your session. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages and links are used. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't follow you across other sites, and only gives us aggregated numbers (for example, how many people viewed a page and which country or device type they came from).
Information stored on your device. We don't set cookies for tracking or advertising. A few pages save small preferences in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice on our lead generation pages, and your saved or pasted designs while browsing styles on our Design pages. These never leave your device unless you send them to us.
Client campaign data. When we run a Search campaign for a client (for example a hiring campaign), we may handle data such as applications, leads and performance figures on the client's behalf. That data is governed by our agreement with the client, and we use it only to run and report on the campaign.
03
How we use it
- To reply to you, assess whether we're a good fit, and send proposals you asked for.
- To deliver work you've hired us for and report on results.
- To run, secure and fix the site, including spotting abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- With your permission, or where the law allows, to send occasional updates about our services. You can opt out at any time.
Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on your consent, on taking steps you asked for before a contract, on performing a contract, or on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business.
04
The Data program and micro1
Our Data pages explain how companies can license their operating data to AI labs through micro1, and how people can earn by referring companies. The Corner is an independent referral partner of micro1. We are not micro1 and do not act for it.
Referral links. The "Get an offer", "Get my referral link" and similar buttons send you to company.micro1.ai or refer.micro1.ai. Those links carry The Corner's referral or affiliate code and standard UTM tags (for example utm_source=referral) so micro1 can credit us. Anything you enter on micro1's sites is collected by micro1 under micro1's own privacy policy and terms, not this one.
Your email before micro1. Before sending a company to micro1's sign-up, we may ask for your email. It is optional; you can skip it. If you give it, we receive your email, the button you clicked and the page you were on. We use it only to stay in touch about your application or referrals. Your browser remembers the email you entered so you don't have to type it again.
Your company's data. If your company licenses data, the agreement, anonymization and transfer happen between your company and micro1. We don't receive, store or have access to the datasets you license. If you choose to share details with us directly, for example while we help you prepare, we treat them as confidential and use them only to help you.
Referral fees. When a company applies through our link and its data is accepted, micro1 may pay us a referral fee. micro1 may tell us which referred companies signed up and the status of their deals so it can pay that fee.
06
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and project briefs for as long as we're talking with you and for up to three years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and as long afterwards as tax, accounting or legal rules require. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a short period under its own retention settings.
07
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We limit who can see personal information and use reputable providers. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, so please don't email us passwords, payment card numbers or sensitive personal information.
08
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email zach@thecorner.ai. We'll confirm who you are before acting and reply within 30 days (45 days where California law allows). We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
California residents. Under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You may use an authorised agent to make a request.
EU, UK and Swiss residents. You also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
09
Children
The site is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
10
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information out of the EU or UK, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
11
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site or tell clients directly.
